Getting the most out of your move

Sometimes it’s hard to decide where to start. Luckily, the friendly folk at Maryfield Removals have a few tips on how to have a hassle-free move!

Start by taking a long hard look at what you really want to keep and what you’re just hanging on to out of habit. If you get rid of things you don’t need, packing will be faster and the move might be cheaper. And don’t forget that your idea of junk might be someone else’s idea of a bargain – why not give away or sell some unwanted possessions?

Once you’ve moved in, you have to unpack. Make life easier by keeping items from the same room together, and make sure your boxes are clearly marked with which room they need to be taken into. Clearly label any fragile contents and make sure that your boxes aren’t so heavy that they can still be picked up safely.
